Smart Health Silver

Unless specifically mentioned in the AXA UAE health insurance policy, the Smart Health plans do not cover the following medical treatments and services:

  1. Unnecessary medical and dental treatments.
  2. Private care.
  3. Non-functional cosmetic procedures.
  4. Research treatments.
  5. Nicotine addiction programs.
  6. Sexual treatments and gender reassignment surgery.
  7. Prosthetics
  8. Injuries caused by flying, adventure sports, martial arts, etc.
  9. Growth hormone procedures.
  10. Preventive treatment.
  11. Acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy.
  12. Deviated septum treatments.
  13. Congenital diseases.
  14. Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
  15. Vitamin deficiency diseases.

The AXA Health Insurance Claim Process

Policyholders are advised to contact the AXA medical insurance support staff before any medical treatment. This allows the AXA medical insurance staff to address any queries the customer may have regarding the eligibility and the claims process.

In order to make a claim, AXA medical insurance policyholders are required to submit the claims form, all original medical bills and any other information as requested by the AXA support staff. Furthermore, the applicant is also required to declare any other active insurance that may help cover the cost of the treatment, so that the AXA health insurance Dubai staff can work out the correct reimbursement amount.
