Ans: If you hold a comprehensive car insurance plan and properly follow the claim process, you can get a cover for hit-and-run.
Q3. Do I have to file a police report for windscreen damage repairs?
Ans: It is mandatory to file a police report for claim registration due to accidental damages.
Q4. Will I get a replacement when my car is under repair?
Ans: If you are not at fault in an accident, you can have a replacement car for up to 15 days. Keep in mind that if you were at fault, you would be able to avail of the facility only if a clause confirming the same was included in your plan before the accident took place.
