Similarly, the government of Thailand has also developed some mandatory rules and regulations for the people travelling to the country.  

As per the Thailand government’s announcement, individuals who travel to Thailand from UAE are required to show their Covid-s19 vaccination status. The fully vaccinated individuals will no longer be required to register themselves under the sandbox or ‘test and go’ schemes. Additionally, they will be exempted from taking the RT-PCR test and accommodating themselves in quarantine for 1 night.  

The unvaccinated travellers, however, will have to take up the RT-PCR test or fulfil the directives of the 5-day Alternate Quarantine scheme.  

3. COVID-19 Health Insurance 

To travel to Thailand from UAE, each traveller must have adequate COVID-19 insurance.

•       Minimal insurance coverage of US $10,000 
•       Extra funds for covering the insured if they happen to be COVID-19 positive or face related complications     

4. Thailand Pass 

The Thailand pass has been introduced for all international travellers to allow them to enter the country without any inconvenience during the COVID-19 period.

In order to apply for a Thailand pass, you can follow the steps mentioned below -  

1. Visit the official website of the Thailand pass. 
2. Enter all the required personal information.
3. Upload the vaccination-related documents. 
4. Once the registration is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation mail on your registered email ID. 
5. Check for the Thailand pass request acceptance after 1-3 days.
6. Once approved, the respective authority will send a QR Entry Code and Thailand Pass ID to your mail.
