The Henley Passport Index recently announced the world’s most powerful passport and published a list of the top 10 strongest passports. Singapore bags the 1st rank in 2026 for having the strongest passports globally — its passport offers visa-free access to 192 destinations. On the contrary, Afghanistan still ranks last in the list in terms of offering visa-free access to only 24 countries. 

In the year 2026, the UAE ranked 5th in the list with visa-free access to 184 countries. The rank has risen compared to 2025, positioned at 10th.
