Besides using your Emirates ID card to pay your traffic fines, there are a few more options for the same. The UAE government has taken significant steps to streamline the fine payment process for nationals and ex-pats.

As per the government provisions, fines can now be paid online or in person in the United Arab Emirates. With both the options providing services without much effort, it is now entirely up to the person to choose between the two choices. You can make an online payment for your fines on the ‘fines and penalties’ page of the relevant official websites. If you prefer otherwise, you also have the option of paying the amount in person at a police station to have the charges completely dismissed. After paying the fines in full, you will get a receipt.
