1. Online

You can complete the online application process for a Golden Visa in just a few simple steps –

  • Log into the official portal of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs or the GDRFA. Alternatively, depending on your mobile operating system, you can download the GDRFA mobile app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
  • If you are visiting the portal for the first time, create an account first. However, if you have an account, simply use your credentials to log in.
  • Select the service that you want to avail of. In this case, you can select the ‘Golden Visa’ service to start the application process.
  • Check the list of documents to be submitted to support your application. Once you have those documents, you can upload their digital copies on the portal.
  • Pay the necessary fees to complete the application process.
  • Click on ‘Submit’ once you have made the payment for your Golden Visa.

2. Offline

You can also apply for a UAE Golden Visa for nurses offline by following the steps discussed below –

  • Travel to your nearest Amer Centre - several such centres are spread out across the UAE.
  • Contact the receptionist and express your interest in applying for a Golden Visa.
  • Bring along your original documents as well as their copies for verification and submission. You should also bring your passport and current visa for the application process.
  • Fill in the physical application form and attach all the relevant documents. Submit the documents at the centre with the help of a service employee.
  • After submitting all the documents, pay the registration fee at the counter.

3. Fees

The UAE Golden Visa fees depend on several factors such as your current residence status, category, insurance, and more. Generally, people applying from within the UAE can pay between AED 2,800 and AED 3,800 for this visa. For those applying from elsewhere, the fee ranges between AED 3,800 and AED 4,800.
