Watania Takaful NAS – Plan A

Annual upper limit for healthcare services per year (for per insured member) is AED 75,000 (sub-limits are applied).
In case of out-patient Maternity Services, prior approval from the insurance company needed, subject to a 10% co-payment.
For In-patient Maternity Services maximum amount of AED 7500 extended for every delivery with 10% of the co-payment by policyholder.
Maternity, pre-existing, and chronic conditioning waiting period is for 12 months.
Dental and gum treatment, hearing and vision aids, policyholders are subject to a 20% co-payment. Compensation only extended if connected to medical exigencies.
The co-payment terms for out-patient services have to be followed. Policyholders will have to bear a 20% co-payment to the health insurance provider while claiming compensation.
In-Patient Services are subject to 20% co-payment as well as coverage of up to AED 1000.
Access to shared rooms, top-notch ambulance service, ground transportation service in the UAE for medical emergencies from an authorised party.
Coverage for companion accommodation of up to AED 100 is given for a companion for a child per night (till 16 years). In addition, companions for those who are above 16 years old will get compensation of up to AED 100 per night.

Out-patient maternity services coverage extended to females between 18 to 45 years after the end of the waiting period. Encompasses benefits like ante-natal services and three ante-natal ultrasound scans.
