As per the Islamic calendar, private employees will enjoy public work-offs from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 03. This means the Eid Al Fitr holidays will start on Saturday, April 30, 2022, for the individuals with the usual weekends off.
However, since the dates depend on moon sightings, the exact holiday list will be announced by UAE’s moon-sighting committee soon. Eid Al Fitr dates are expected to fall on May 02 Tuesday so the holidays can continue until May 03 or May 04, 2022.

Along with the private sector holidays, public sector holidays have also been announced by the UAE government. The Federal Government employees are going to have their holidays starting from Saturday, April 30, 2022, to Friday, May 06. The offices will reopen on Monday, May 09, 2022.
