Car parking in Dubai is paid for 14 hours from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm. Note that parking is free on Sundays and public holidays. RTA has also announced free car parking in Dubai during the Eid Al Adha holidays.
This zone is for commercial parking in Dubai. Zone A includes all the roadside parking in assigned commercial areas of Dubai. This zone is completely a parking area and does not require any specific card.

As one of the most common ways to pay your parking charges in Dubai, this requires you to make payment via SMS. Those with Du or Etisalat sims can use this payment method.
Here’s the text format —

You will also receive alerts to renew the parking ticket at an extra charge of 30 fils per SMS. This parking method is also available for non-Dubai vehicles.
You can use mobile applications of RTA and Dubai Drive to pay for parking in Dubai. To initiate the payment process, download the mobile application and register your vehicle in the app. Follow the instructions thereon to pay the parking fee.
This card presents a smart solution to pay your Dubai car parking charges. The RTA has specific machines that can read your NoL card to charge fees for the parking duration. These machines have been set up across the parking lots in Dubai to smoothen the payment process. The amount will get debited from your NoL balance and you will get your parking ticket.
You can use seasonal parking cards to park at different public parking lots without worrying about paying — simply display the card on the dashboard. If you are planning to get one, you can choose the validity duration from 3 months, 6 months, to yearly.
You can also use Apple Pay, Galaxy Pay, and RFID-enabled Bank cards to pay for parking in Dubai. You can also use prepaid cards to pay for parking. In this case, simply insert the card into the parking machine — it will deduct the required amount for the particular zone. The deducted denominations could be AED 30, AED 50, and AED 100.
If you end up violating parking rules in Dubai, you will be liable to pay parking fines.
