Some can confuse it with the NOL pay app, although it serves a different purpose. The NOL card is used to pay public transport fares, whereas the RTA e-Wallet is specifically for RTA services and Dubai taxis.

How to Apply for RTA E-Wallet?

To apply for the RTA eWallet account, follow the steps mentioned below —

For Individuals

• Log into your RTA account 
• Select the ‘RTA e-Wallet’ and click on ‘Apply for e-Wallet Account’
• Provide your Emirates ID and date of birth, then click on ‘Validate Your ID’
• Review the information you provided, select your nationality, and the Emirate from the dropdown
• Upload both sides of your Emirates ID and submit 

For Companies

• Log into your RTA account
• Select the ‘RTA e-Wallet’ and click on ‘Apply for e-Wallet Account’
• Fill in the required information and review it
• Upload your company’s trade licence and a signed authorisation letter 
• Confirm and agree to the terms and conditions

Note – The RTA eWallet account will be created instantly upon submission of your application. The service is free and permanent.

How to Link the RTA e-Wallet?

When you submit the form, you will receive a PIN. Visit the website and log in to your account.

• Visit the RTA website and log in to your account
• Go to your e-Wallet present on the Dashboard tab 
• Click on the Link option and enter your account number and PIN
• Click on the Link tab

How to Use the RTA e-Wallet?

Here is how to use RTA eWallet in the UAE —

• Log into your RTA account
• Select the service you want 
• Choose the payment method as RTA e-Wallet and settle the service fee
• The amount will get deducted from your e-Wallet account

How to Top-up Your RTA eWallet?

Does your RTA e-Wallet have insufficient funds? No worries — reloading it is an easy process. You can do it in two ways —

Via RTA Website

• Log into your e-Wallet account
• Click on the ‘Top up e-Wallet Account’ tab 
• Select the amount you want to add and hit the ‘Pay’ button 
• You will be taken to the payment gateway
• Provide your credit card details and confirm the payment 
• This way, your e-Wallet will be topped up immediately

Via Al Ansari Exchange

• Share your e-Wallet account number with the agent 
• Select your payment option from cash or cheque
• Your eWallet account will be reloaded within 10 minutes

Note – Topping up via the RTA website is free. However, there is a service fee when using Al Ansari Exchange. The fees include –

• AED 60 for adding more than AED 50,000
• AED 20 for adding AED 50,000 or less
• AED 15 for adding AED 20,000 or less
