Here is how you can file an appeal for a failed RTA road test —
- Step1- Log into the RTA website. If you are an existing user, log in using the UAE Pass, Emirates ID, or passport number. As a new customer, you need to create an account by clicking ‘Register as Individual’.
- Step2- Once you enter your account, click on the ‘Apply for Appealing a Road Test Result’ tab.
- Step3- Check the result in detail on the website — immediate fails and minor faults.
- Step4- Select the results that you find incorrect and enter your feedback. Note that this can also include complaints related to the examiner’s behaviour.
- Step5- Enter the refund details (bank account or IBAN).
- Step6- Pay the required charges.
- Step7- Submit the appeal. You will get a reference number and confirmation via email.
- Step8- You can get the results within 5 business days by email with a link to find the details.
- Step9- If the appeal is approved, the test results are changed. In this case, you will receive a refund of the appeal fees to your registered bank account or IBAN.
- Step10- If the appeal gets rejected, you complete the training and retake the road test.
Note – The whole filing of the appeal process takes up to 5 minutes.
