A chequebook is a small book of pre-printed paper leaves to help account holders pay for the required products and services. The chequebook leaves are printed with account holders’ details like their name, address, bank account number and other identification information.

With the increasing use of online and mobile banking services, chequebooks have become obsolete, but some people still believe in paying with cheques as they act as a bill of exchange. Each chequebook comes with limited paper instruments.

Most banks in the UAE provide a first free chequebook for the new account holders. The account holders need to place an official banking request in case they need another one. Keep reading to know the process of placing a request for a new chequebook.
